Lead Auditor ISO 22000:2005 FSMS

The course is certified by the Chartered Quality Institute (CQI) and International Register of Certificated Auditors (IRCA) and meets the training requirements for initial certification as an IRCA FSMS Auditor. This training is to provide participants with the knowledge and skills needed to fulfil their role as a fully trained Lead Auditor of ISO 22000 Food Safety Management System.

Course Duration: 5 days

Course Objectives:

– Understand the operations of a Food Safety Management System (FSMS) based on ISO 22000

– Acknowledge the correlation between ISO 22000 and other standards and regulatory frameworks

– Understand an auditor’s role to: plan, lead and follow-up on a management system audit in accordance with ISO 19011

– Learn how to lead an audit and audit team

– Learn how to interpret the requirements of ISO 22000 in the context of a FSMS audit

– Acquire the competencies of an auditor to plan an audit, lead an audit, draft reports, and follow-up on an audit in compliance with ISO 19011

Successful completion of this FSMS IRCA certified training course, by passing the relevant examination and skills assessment, will demonstrate the knowledge and basic skills to undertake and lead a management systems audit.
