Lead auditor ISO 14001:2015

The course is certified by the Chartered Quality Institute (CQI) and International Register of Certificated Auditors (IRCA) and meets the training requirements for initial certification as an IRCA EMS Auditor. This training is to provide participants with the knowledge and skills needed to fulfil their role as a fully trained Lead Auditor of ISO 14001:2015 Environmental Management Systems

Course Duration: 5 days

Course Objectives:

– Understand the operations of an Environmental Management System (EMS) based on ISO 14001

– Acknowledge the correlation between ISO 14001 and other standards and regulatory frameworks

– Understand an auditor’s role to: plan, lead and follow-up on a management system audit in accordance with ISO 19011

– Learn how to lead an audit and audit team

– Learn how to interpret the requirements of ISO 14001 in the context of an EMS audit

– Acquire the competencies of an auditor to: plan an audit, lead an audit, draft reports, and follow-up on an audit in compliance with ISO 19011

Successful completion of this EMS IRCA certified training course, by passing the relevant examination and skills assessment, will demonstrate the knowledge and basic skills to undertake and lead a management systems audit.
